When I create a ticket for the customers by using the last name could you have it linked to search from the contacts Account # and Organization info too? I’m unable to locate customers Foreman/Son-in-laws info, unless I know first hand who to contact.

In the "create new ticket" contact search bar on the dashboard, the search needs to be "smarter". If you do not type in a contact name exactly right, it will not find it. For example, if someone goes by their middle name "John James Smith", and you type in James Smith it will not bring up that contact. It would also be nice to search by any information in the contact information, such as External ID.

Agree with this comment 100%. If a customer's name is Wesley Smith and you search "wes smith", you will not get any results. Other names like Nick could be entered as Nick or Nicholas so I will search "ni smith" in other systems to ensure I find who I'm looking for, but in EC, this search will return no results either.
